uhh, wait.  How does a bug filed in 2002 *BECOME* a duplicate of a bug filed eight years later?  Shouldn't the new bug be marked a duplicate of the old bug?  Is there any method to this madness of just methodical madness? (hey, I like that one, "methodical madness", I gotta remember that one.....)

And yes, I'm referring to bug #1343 that has had 65 bugs marked a duplicate of it.

That bug was being used as a sort of tracker bug. We're using this one instead now. Deal with it.
