Hello, after pulling in the latest x86-stable updates and rebooting, by X server suddenly started using an unusual high amount of CPU and scaling up with additional opened terminal windows. It turns out perpetrator is x11-libs/vte-0.28.1-r200; after downgrading back to 0.26.2 the issue is gone. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. update to vte-0.28.1-r200 (latest stable x86); reboot (or restart X/terminals) 2. open terminal; observe increased cpu-usage of the X server process and raising with every additional terminal 3. downgrade to vte-0.26.2 (previous stable); reboot (or restart..) 4. open terminals; observer idle X server process Actual Results: high cpu-usage (approximately 15% with a single terminal window, 48% with three terminal windows, on an Core i5-M520 2.4GHz) Expected Results: more or less idle environment: VirtualBox-4.0.8, Gentoo default/linux/x86/10.0, kernel 2.6.37-gentoo-r4, xorg-server-1.9.5 (plain, on vt:7), Xfce-4.8, gtk+-2.24.4, the VirtualBox client packages are the only installed "~x86" builds specific software
