The long-awaited tracker-0.6.0, which among other things, fixes crashes and the grayed-out deskbar bug, has been released. There are some new dependencies, some of which are not yet in portage.

Comment on attachment 125819 [details] files/0.6.0-tracker-handler.py Jamie updated the 0.6.0 tarball, tracker-handler.py is not necessary any more. By the way, time to regenerate the digests...
Im not going to add the packages to portage atm, perhaps in the future, or if someone else picks those up, I will update the ebuild accordingly. As for the deskbar-applet issue, it should be fixed with the updated tarball. Ive pushed out the tarball on d.g.o in hopes that it will propagate through out the mirrors, and of course Ive redigested the ebuild.
