Description Martin von Gagern 2006-03-12 10:22:45 UTC
There once was an expert mode for entering bugs, but I can't find it right now.
Would be useful to have this back, to directly assign a bug and set a keyword.

It's the default now :) http://bugs.gentoo.org/enter_bug.cgi

The guided (unfinished still) one is http://bugs.gentoo.org/enter_bug.cgi?format=guided

OK, if this /is/ the expert mode, then I'm mainly missing the free "Assign to" entry box. You can see my initial submit form in attachment #81996 [details], there the 'assigned_to' input has 'disabled="1"', so it is grayed and not editable. And when editing an existing bug, the 'Assigned To' field is not an input field at all but rather static text. After reading bug #115796 and the bugs mentioned therein, this looks a bit like bug #121209, except there the reporter could fill out the box, while I can't even edit it. Might be a browser thing, I'm using mozilla-firefox-1.5.0.1.
