perl-core packages' conflicts are going to be the biggest problem :/ 
collision-protect is usually enabled to avoid that broken ebuilds overwrite 
BSD userland, but this disallow users to install perl-core modules without 
disabling collision-protect ...

Sort of fixed for 2.10, but 2.12 requires way more work :/
