Hi, thanks for the prompt response. Yes, simply recycling the existing ebuild (3.15.0) works for 3.21.0, at least on my system. (Upgrading to 3.21.0 doesn't solve the problem of random crashes with ebook-viewer, though. But I guess that should be another bug report).
The same ebuild also works with 3.25.0 :-)
Bump works for calibre-3.26.1 and it builds and runs successfully with Qt 5.11.

Rename to 3.26.1 worked for my use cases (ebook viewer and push/pull to a kindle mounted locally).
