Description edes 2018-04-17 02:10:17 UTC
The latest ebuild is for version 3.15, but several versions have been released since then.

The latest release is 3.21: https://calibre-ebook.com/whats-new

Thank you for the bump request.
You can help the maintainer with further information:
Does a simple bump [1] work on your system?

Hi, thanks for the prompt response.

Yes, simply recycling the existing ebuild (3.15.0) works for 3.21.0, at least on my system.

(Upgrading to 3.21.0 doesn't solve the problem of random crashes with ebook-viewer, though. But I guess that should be another bug report).

The same ebuild also works with 3.25.0 :-)
Comment 4 Tom Shaw 2018-06-20 17:09:33 UTC
Bump works for calibre-3.26.1 and it builds and runs successfully with Qt 5.11.

I'm not able to add the blocker myself (as far as I can see), but this bug blocks bug #653646, since calibre before 3.24 is not compatible with Qt 5.11:

Please bump calibre ASAP - because after updating to 5.11 calibre doesn't compile anymore (@revdep-rebuild):

Rename to 3.26.1 worked for my use cases (ebook viewer and push/pull to a kindle mounted locally).
