pm-utils seems to remount /mnt/cdrom as read-only no matter what the system mounts it as in the first place. When a gentoo iso is installed to a usb drive then /mnt/cdrom is where that file system resides, and it should be writeable. The kernel knows what is writeable and what is not, and I really don't see how remounting /mnt/cdrom as readonly is a power management issue. Can we disabled this?
Version numbers?
