Hello! I cannot use the suspend to RAM power saving mode on my laptop for a couple of months already. I'm not sure about the certain update after which it started, though. When I run 'pm-suspend', the system does not enter the "Sleep" mode, but instead "throws me out" of the X-session into the console and then hangs. At first, I thought it is a problem with some kernel module. So I started to unload them one by one before the attempts to suspend the computer. It turned out that the problem persists even if I unload almost all modules (I wasn't able to delete 'evdev' and 'unix' since they had been in use). So now I don't know where to look for the reason of such incorrect behaviour. Reproducible: Always

After upgrade to sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-3.5.0 and adding the 'ohci_hcd' module to unload modules list in '/etc/pm/config.d/gentoo': SUSPEND_MODULES="rt73usb ohci_hcd ehci_hcd" (which I did not do before, and it still used to work fine until some moment) I can more or less successfully put my system into sleep mode. I say 'more or less' because when I press the 'Sleep' button or when I type 'pm-suspend', the screen gets blank, but the system is not put into the sleep mode for about 30 seconds or more. After that it does 'fall asleep'. So, now it behaves a bit strange, but at least it is possible to use the 'suspend to RAM' mode. At first, I thought that it was because of the 'ohci_hcd' module that my system could not get into sleep mode, so after adding it to the appropriate SUSPEND_MODULES list, I tried to load the 3.4.5 kernel. However it turned out that I still cannot put my PC into sleep mode with that kernel anyway. Regards, Vladimir
