Bug 21584 – distfiles digest corruption on oregon state server

here is a copy of the message i get:

after changing the mirror, the problem seems to be solved, so i think something is 
wrong with the packages on the oregon state server...

1. set oregon state as default mirror 
2. "emerge evolution" 
3. 
Actual Results:

Expected Results:  
emerge evolution 
 

like i said, changing mirrors made everything better, but i didnt know how else to let 
you know there might be file corruption or something at the oregon state server

OSU had a hardware failure and some serious filesystem corruption.

It's in the process of being fixed. In the meantime, use a different mirror. ibiblio and utwente should both be safe.

I solved this problem by selecting another mirror with "mirrorselect".

It seems like the digest files on the default mirror are corrupted!
