Description Neko-san 2023-09-15 23:54:20 UTC
I would like to request the Unreal Engine as a package:

Unless this is a separate request for the source code it's a duplicate of Bug #571618. If it is a request for the source code, I'm not sure if Gentoo will accept it due to the EULA/fetch restrictions (your link will not be viewable until following this guide): https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/ue-on-github

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 571618 ***

This is a request for version 5 of the package; you marked this as a duplicate for a request explicitly made for version 4...
Additionally, I am aware it 's a private repo; and I don't entirely see why this would be an issue given that Gentoo makes it clear that opting-in/opting-out of installing EULA packages is entirely based user choice.

And given the relevance UE has in the industry... it's inconvenient that we don't have it.
