History: I tried to switch to gcc 3.4.x but encountered problems. After I switched back (processing all steps backwards) I got the error above.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge gcc
2.
3.

Expected Results:
emerged gcc 3.5.3 with deps

running emerge from XTerm (XOrg with KDE 3.3) on Kernel 2.6.10-r
