I'm currently installing Gentoo installing on a box at home and I've found a prob: At the step "Progressing from Stage2 to Stage3", the emerge system stops with an error at /dev-libs/openssl-0.9.7e. Errormessage is: "You need perl 5". I think the problem is that emerge system tries to install openssl before installing perl. I've solved this problem by emerging perl by hand and after it restarting emerge system again. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
