Description Fredrik Jagenheim 2002-09-15 15:41:45 UTC
Fsck looks for something called 'fsck.resierfs' at boot, while the binary is
called 'fsck.reiserfs'.

e2fsprogs is 1.27
reiserfsprogs is 3.6.3

Similar to bug# <a href="http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6819">6819</a>,
btw. Just another misspelling.

try `emerge rsync ; emerge e2fsprogs` and see if you still have the problem
Comment 2 Fredrik Jagenheim 2002-09-16 15:24:32 UTC
I unmasked the latest e2fsprogs (1.27-r1) but still have this problem.

hmm... definitely works for me... how strange, do you have some out of date
startup files perhaps?
Comment 4 Fredrik Jagenheim 2002-09-22 11:48:30 UTC
Damn, another invalid bug. :)

I had spelled reiserfs in the /etc/fstab wrong.
