Description Markus Luisser 2002-08-21 07:00:15 UTC
When booting fsck wants to check with fsck.reiserFS, which is simply not there
- i had to create a symlink fsck.reiserFS->fsck.reiserfs in /sbin to make it
work without warning

hrm... werksferme here, can you make sure you have the latest of the concerned
packages
e2fsprogs and reiserfsprogs.

re-open if you don't like this
Comment 3 Markus Luisser 2002-09-07 03:37:26 UTC
ok for me - i thought it to be only trivial anyway since it is a mere warning
message on bootup...though it never hurts to report something like this, just
in case someone actually reads all the startup msgs ;)

as of the date i reported the bug, my install cd was 2 days old and i did of
course emerge rsync...

sorry for the late response i was in my vacancies without even a handheld :))

If you check bug # 7967 you'll notice that I reported the same thing and the
resolve was that reiserfs was misspelled in /etc/fstab.
I'd suppose this is the case here too. :)
