epstool 3.06 is out, 3.05 has been out for aaaaaaaaages.

Thanks for the hint. Do you know of a way to get notified of new releases? Didn't find anything like that.

Thanks heaps. Other than checking up on the website, keep in touch with me/us. Us = Scribus developers (#scribus on freenode). We are always pushing the GS envelope a little and are in constant contact with the GS developers.

BTW: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71400 might be of interest too, not sure if you are responsible there too or not.

No, I should better not touch gsview because it belongs to the printing team.
I added epstool to the portage tree because I had a personal need for it last year when I needed to automatically adjust bounding boxes.
