Please port to py3 or lastrite.
Apparently upstream plans to go py3 in 1.6 which is planned for September. Unless we count 1.5.x releases.
py3 support seems to be planned for version 1.5.2. The relevant ticket has been added to the milestone for that version: https://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/12130

Debian (testing) and Ubuntu are shipping v1.5.2 - I've tweaked a local overlay copy of the Gentoo ebuild for that and it works fine. Last riting and removal is THE WRONG THING. Please fix it properly.

Please fix it properly. Please open a PR and re-add the Python3 version instead of blaming Michał.
