Could you convert xmms-infopipe to use the xmms-plugin eclass rather than creating a new ebuild? Thanks.

bmp-infopipe has been added to CVS.
I have not been able to use your ebuild, the reason is that Gentoo works from vanilla sources. You provided a custom tarball instead.

The ebuild does the following; it downloads the vanilla xmms-infopipe sources. It applies the patch provided by the author. It applies a custom patch to fix an include issue. Then the configure script is rebuilt, and the normal configure, compile, install process begins.
Feel free to sync in two hours, the ebuild will then be in the tree. Thank you for your report.
