Description Alonso Schaich 2004-10-05 00:53:14 UTC
GCC 3.3.5 was released on 30th of September. It's still nothing about that on the GCC Homepage, but I guess thats because they're waiting for it to populate on all the mirrors. gwdg already got it, and as it's one of the official GCC Mirrors, I guess we can ... thrust that.

Can't look for an ebuild since I have to go right now.

Reproducible: Always

Since it's not even on ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/gcc/ I think we should really wait with that, until it's officially announced.
Comment 2 Travis Tilley (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-10-05 08:06:21 UTC
so... toolchain team, are we converting this one to toolchain.eclass?
Comment 3 Alonso Schaich 2004-10-06 00:53:19 UTC
It won't be announced. 3.3.4 also was never announced. The GCC Team only announces releases of their current developing series.
Comment 4 Stephane Loeuillet 2004-11-18 08:35:04 UTC
it is actually in portage, but strangely, it is sloted 3.3 when older 3.3.x release were sloted 3.2

no libstdc++-v3-3.3.5 for now

see bug #71629 for what would be in gcc-3.3.5-r1
Comment 5 Travis Tilley (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-11-20 13:06:31 UTC
...well it's in the tree, though unfinished
