many apps get added to kde's menu.  some apps get added to gnome's menu.  nothing gets added to fluxbox (at least until you run a script).

my proposal is for a use flag for many X apps -- the "menu" flag.

setting the flag would create menu links in the various wm/de for linux.  likely kde and gnome would get priority here.

because some users organize their own menus, there needs to be an option to un-set this flag.  possibly future versions would prevent an app from adding itself to a menu.
