If you disable DirectFB support in qingy you can remove qingy package as well.

The main reason qingy exists is lightweight graphical login to X (using fb).

So either remove qingy as well or keep DirectFB support in qingy.

Hello thorn, don't be so peremptory. Qingy worked perfect in text mode on my machines for years. Pity that this project itself seems to be abandoned.

I have used qingy in text mode for some time, but now I'm back to fb graphical mode and will keep using it with my own ebuild.

I don't want it to be deleted - onl wanted to point out that qingy was as lightweight alternative to xdm-like programs.

Recent stable directfb makes no problem at all - so I don't understand why DirectFB support is being removed.
