Description Vasilis Lourdas 2017-08-17 15:45:40 UTC
Since bug #627560 (request to bump libreoffice-bin to 5.3.5) was declared as WONTFIX and I never got any reply to my last comment in that bug, I'm now asking to bump version 5.4.0 in the tree.

Thank you.

As far as I know all *-bin version are created only for stable system.
Libreoffice-5.4.0 depend on libraries not yet present in stable Gentoo and so developers can't create this release.

Maybe it's just for the stable system (but there are other binary packages, like firefox-bin or thunderbird-bin) which have versions for the testing (~) system.

It seems that my initial bug asking for the binary 5.3.5 version was closed with RESOLVED WONTFIX status by mistake by the developer. From his comment, I understand that he thought I was asking for the source package to be bumped to 5.3.5, where there's already a 5.3.4 version in the tree for that package.
