Created attachment 477904 [details] krecipes-0_p20160714.ebuild Having hit some bugs with the current version in the tree, I tried some newer releases. 2.1.0 still has issues, but the git tag in the following ebuild resolves some issues I was having. Can be named: krecipes-9999.ebuild krecipes-0_p20160714.ebuild krecipes-2.1.0.ebuild Version krecipes-0_p20160714.ebuild works for me. This should also close bug 621558
I would only add this to tree if it actually solved bug 621558, and a current git clone suggests otherwise. Did you really check?

Did you really check? I added it as a slot dep, that's what I assumed was a solid 'fix'. I don't know of security issues with it, it would have been masked/tree cleaned. It works. The latest ebuild fixes the git tag URI, adds USE flags, and I had to shuffle some language options. Talking with a current developer José Manuel Santamaría Lema; he mentioned his intentions to remove qt3 dependency's, and continue forward porting support, time permitting.

I think you misunderstood the bug. krecipes depends on qtwebkit:4 already via WEBKIT_REQUIRED="always", you don't have to add a duplicate entry to the ebuild. qtwebkit:4 is in the process of being treecleaned (bug 620684) which is why we need to fix (or treeclean) its reverse-dependencies like krecipes first.
kde-misc/krecipes is now package.masked and slated for removal on 2017-08-01.
