Description Francesco 2016-11-15 13:33:40 UTC
Hi,

The update of gnome to version 3.22 seams broken.

The error I am getting: gnome-session-f[1507]: segfault at 0 ip 00007f0c6e83e549 sp 00007ffc76222680 error 4 in libgtk-3.so.0.2200.3[7f0c6e55c000+6fa000]

There is a thread on the forum about this issue: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-7987314.html?sid=d4e54e0900056c741ed9f0bf4855eb76

I don't find any solution to solve this issue. I have tried to rebuild gtk+ and other gnome components.

Thanks

Any reason you would think that your gtk+ segfault is the same one as the one in the thread?

Are you running x11-wm/mutter-3.22.2? Try downgrading to 3.22.1

I think this is the same as bug 599796

Hi,

I was using x11-wm/mutter-3.22.2. Downgrading to 3.22.1 solved the issue.

Thanks very much
