Hello, MATE 1.12 included some very important fixes such as improved multi-monitor support, and MATE 1.14 stabilized GTK+3, sound fixes, and much more. I've been using MATE 1.10 (~amd64) and I've had no problems. I'll be happy to help. Thanks! Alec Ari

1.12 was recently released to the project repo and would love getting an additional tester involved. As far as 1.14 is concerned, it's in the works and will be out in the project repo as soon as we can get 1.10 stabilized and 1.12 into the main repo. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 567702 ***
sorry, that I did not find the duplicate "MATE 1.1{2,4}". I searched for open "mate-base/mate". So I could not see the other 3 closed duplicates either. Best, Jonas
