It doesn't look like bug 584304 has an easy fix to it. hpricot is used in ronn to build HTML output for the man pages. I don't think we actively use that, and in any case the test failures are in the code that parses HTML, not code that generates it. In this case my suggestion is to ignore the test failures on alpha for stabling ronn, and keep the hpricot bug open.

Agreed. Stabilized these on alpha: app-text/ronn-0.7.3-r3 dev-ruby/fast_xs-0.8.0-r2 dev-ruby/hpricot-0.8.6-r3 dev-ruby/mustache-1.0.2 ...and closing this bug.
Reopening this bug since for some reason ia64 and sparc were not included in the original list of arches.
I have marked these packages stable for ia64 and sparc without any testing, because the alternative is to drop ia64 and sparc stable from pretty much all arches. This should really only affect mustache since the other packages are only ruby target revision bumps.
