I'm setting up a new Gentoo system and my portage tree is current as of 2015-11-21. building the app-text/ronn doesn't work, see the following error message: * Messages for package I switched my ruby profile to "ruby20" and install now works.
This is an unfortunate by-product of how we were handling newer stable ruby versions. For ruby22 this should no longer be an issue since we changed our procedure. There is also bug 424339 which should provide better feedback in this case. For app-text/ronn we can fix this by marking a newer version stable. We are currently waiting for dependencies to be marked stable.
