This is an ebuild for the new balsa 2.2.0. It mainly originates from the ebuild for 2.0.15-r1 with some minor changes. Balsa 2.2.0 depends on gmime-2.1.7 (see <A HREF="http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57197">bug #57197</A>) and on gpgme 0.9.0 (with USE="crypt") (see <A HREF="http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57193">bug #57193</A>). Furthermore balsa too depends on libesmtp, where an (not necessarily needed) update is available under <A HREF="http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57194">bug #57194</A>. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

Created attachment 37183 [details] Balsa 2.2.2 ebuild Balsa 2.2.2 ebuild. A slightly modified version of the 2.2.0 ebuild attached here. Depends upon gmime-2.1.7 and gpgme-0.9.0
New Version of balsa (2.2.3). Should work with ebuild for 2.2.2
Created attachment 39117 [details] New balsa 2.2.4 ebuild Two new USE Variables (threads, sqlite). Changed Use handling for pcre (perl). sqlite USE Flag to enable GPE Adressbook support in balsa.
Created attachment 41124 [details] mail-client/balsa-2.2.5 ebuild Modified above to work for new release balsa 2.2.5. It now depends upon gmime-2.1.9, see http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57197 for ebuild.
Created attachment 41128 [details] Balsa-2.2.5 Ebuild At the time of the creation of this ebuild (2.2.0) there was no USE-Flag for pcre, so perl was used instead. Now there is. So changed from USE="perl" to USE="pcre". Dependency for gmime has been changed too.
Do any gnome herders use balsa? Need to update this anyway.
The 2.2.5 ebuild works with balsa-2.2.6 too.
committed balsa-2.2.6, should be all set
