Autocompletion fails for files starting with an opening square bracket and having closing bracket somewhere in the filename. Actual bug is described here http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.shells.bash.bugs/23801 A reply from the bash-bug mailing list advised to send a bug to maintainers of bash-completion package, if `complete -r` solves the problem. It does, so the bug is here.
