See if allegro-4.1.14 makes a difference please.
Bug still exists w/ allegro 4.1.14
This looks to me to be the same bug as bug #24775 but I never got a response from that bug reporter. I've never been able to reproduce the problem here. Can you try compiling it up with CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS set to just "-pipe" and see if that makes a difference?
Tried it on two different machines now. Also tried two sets of CFLAGS, including just "-pipe" and it always does the same thing. "killed." I have never got a segfault so not sure if it's the same problem. Although it does sound similar. Crash happens with just mouse movement too.
Can you attach your ~/.liquidwarrc file as text/plain please?
Created attachment 33519 [details] .liquidwarrc Also tried without it, still crashes.
Try adding --disable-asm to the egamesconf line in the ebuild. I'm going to need you to be proactive on tracking this down BTW, I totally can't reproduce it here.
Tried it with asm disabled and it wouldn't load at first. Had to launch the game with -nomusic. However, it still crashed moving around in the menus. I also tried with all the -no* and it still crashes. Back to the drawing board. :(
This still continues to be fine for me. I'm going to close this as CANTFIX since I've never been able to reproduce it.
