dietlib fails to build with gcc-3.4.0
manually applying the patches from
http://cvs.pld-linux.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/SOURCES/dietlibc-gcc34.patch
to the contents of the dietlib archive at /usr/share/genkernel/pkg/dietlibc-0.24.tar.bz2
fixed the problem

appling this patch to the tarball works for me with gcc 3.4 on x86

Works here as well, gcc-3.4.1-r1, x86, added:

                patch -p1 < /root/dietlibc-gcc34.patch

after line 450 in /usr/share/genkernel/gen_compile.sh.
BTW: dietlibc-0.26 is out, genkernel should be updated..., used:
*  sys-kernel/genkernel
      Latest version available: 3.0.2e
      Latest version installed: 3.0.2e
with /etc/make.profile -> ../usr/portage/profiles/gcc34-x86-2004.2

I get a 404 file not found error when trying to access that patch.  Anyone able to say what was changed?  I'm guessing it was minor (probably related to the 4 entries that claim to have conflicting type errors).

genkernel 3.1.0c has dietlibc-0.27 which is fixed for this issue upstream; closing bug...
