A tentative beginning to a bluez-tools ebuild.

Bluez-tools is a useful command line tool set for bluetooth. It relies on C and dbus. The homepage may be found at: https://gitorious.org/bluez-tools.

I wrote an ebuild script for use on Chromium, but it is not perfect, and I have not tested cross-compatibility with architectures besides x86. However, from using Bluez-tools previously, it appears to function on many architecture. I cannot say for certain that it will work on all architectures - yet.

I am new to gentoo development and to the portage tree, but I am happy and willing to contribute to make this ebuild possible, if it is found useful and satisfactory for inclusion.
Comment 1 Scott Conover 2013-10-16 14:38:55 UTC
In case it is useful, this is the results of the emerge --info I ran for the proposed ebuild bluez-tools. It was ran within the chromium development environment, so there may be subtle differences in the build structure - I am not sure.

This is a duplicate of bug #431488, which was closed because bluetoothctl obsoletes it.
