I open this bug mainly for tracking and coordination. my plan is that after we roll out 5.0.7-r3, all the bugs relate to autofs will be closed.and after we stable 5.0.7-r3, I'll do a cleanup. version 5.0.6-r5 (keep this for save), 5.0.7-r3, -9999 will be kept in tree, others will be pruned out. let me know, if you have any concern. thanks Reproducible: Always
I'd like to proceed with this bug, since both stable version and testing version are in tree for a few time. My plan would only keep two versions (latest stable - 5.0.7-r4, latest testing - 5.0.8-r1), any other versions will be removed. live version - 9999, I don't think it's necessary to keep it in main tree, it's a little bit kind of out-of-sync, not been updated well, more important, no one really use it (see no bug report). I'll move this one into my own personal overlay, so someone really need it can get it there.
