Probably not much use in filing a whole lot of info as many packages break with openssl-1.0.1d. Anyways, with openssl-1.0.1d I'm unable to connect to remote desktops. Both with the stable freerdp version in portage as well as the 9999.1 version. Downgrading to openssl-1.0.1c resolves the issue immediately, no need to rebuild xfreerdp.
I'm pretty sure I was able to connect with freerdp-9999.1 and openssl-1.0.1d when I was doing some work last night. I did get a weird crash that only happened once, but I just figured that was some bug in FreeRDP. Anyway please provide some details: What does "unable to connect" mean? Does that mean a timeout, and error, a crash, or what? If it crashes, can you gather a backtrace please?
