Can you please have a look if virtual/awk is sufficient or if gawk is needed.

awk is used in diradm.common.sh, diradm.conf, superadduser.diradm and the build system. Everything is posix except for the use of IGNORECASE in diradm.conf.

So actually gawk is needed, but configure would also accept nawk, which would break diradm.conf.

As long as gawk is in depends everything will be fine as configure prefers gawk over the others.
