Torrents added to deluge using a magnet uri don't ever start when using net-libs/rb_libtorrent other than 0.15.10. There might be other problems not yet discovered. See http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=39665 Deluge package should block rb_libtorrent upgrade until this issue is fixed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Upgrade rb_libtorrent to >=0.16 2. Add a torrent using a magnet Actual Results: Metadata for torrents added using a magnet never get loaded Expected Results: Torrent should start downloading.
Do you refer to the problem described (and solved) in bug 437356 ?
This is supposed to be fixed in the latest deluge

The problem here is that a 'emerge --update --newuse --deep -av --autounmask-write world' updated rb_libtorrent to 0.16.5 but not deluge-1.3.5 to deluge-1.3.5-r2 because -r2 is masked by keyword; If the two deluge packages (1.3.5 and 1.3.5-r2) are supposed to be on portage tree, I'd suggest deluge-1.3.5 to depend on rb_libtorrent-0.15.10.
