In debian/copyright there's the following notice: The files written by the grml-team are available under the GPL license version 2. For license information regarding files not deriving from the grml project please take a look at the affected file itself. However, there's no license information whatsoever in any of these files. The only notice I've found is in arne_schwabes/zshrc and it's not helpful: # I got this file from someone (don't remember who though) # and modified it :). Not sure what we should do here. It's really upstream's task to sort this out. Certainly the license of this package is not "as-is".
Sent mail to upstream.
Upstream has released zsh-lovers-0.9.0 which resolves the issue. Please version bump the ebuild. License is GPL-2 (only) now.
Added to the tree.
I've updated zsh-lovers-0.8.3 to LICENSE="GPL-2 all-rights-reserved" now. No mirror restriction, since we have distributed the file for a long time, and I assume that 0.8.3 will be removed as soon as 0.9.0 is stable.
