Description Rodrigo Severo 2012-09-11 18:25:03 UTC
mysql-cluster is a high availability and high performance alternative to regular mysql.
It's latest version 7.2.8 is available at https://www.mysql.com/downloads/mirror.php?id=409489

Bugs #331691 and #405241 dealt with this issue but in terms of actual ebuilds I could only find a _very old_ dev-db/mysql-cluster-7.0.9 at mysql overlay and that's it.

I will try to update dev-db/mysql-cluster-7.2.4 from bug #405241 but I'm not sure it will fly.

Any luck yet?
I'm currently using NDBcluster from the older MySQL 5.0 series with a lot of stability issues (crashes).
I'd like to try to move to the MySQL Cluster package.
Maybe I'm wrong but it seems to me that there's little interest for MySQL Cluster (master-master nodes) especially in the Gentoo community. Most people seem to use Multi-Master Circular Replication with the "standard" MySQL package.
Anyway, good luck with the ebuild.

Newer MySQL Cluster packages have been added to the mysql overlay.

dev-db/mysql-cluster is now in the tree
