Created attachment 302793 [details, diff] eclass related chages needed for the mysql-cluster ebuild Ok, so I have gentoo servers and I need to set up mysql clusters. just for fooling arround. after merging mysql with the cluster USE flag I'm told that I should really use a mysql-cluster package instead. nice but it's not in portage. no I'm not using the mysql overlay. two very old bugs are marked as resolved fixed #69075 and #331691 but still the ebuilds did not end up in proper portage. or maybe they have been removed at a later date? I don't have cvs access any longer so I'm not sure. I took the old mysql-cluster ebuild and updated it enough to be able to compile the latest upstream sources, in the hope that others might find it useful. and who knows, maybe even to end up in portage at some point in time. either way, @robbat2 please do think about patching the mysql eclasses with my diff so that life would be somewhat easier. thanks

nevermind, I ended up not using this product. not sure why the compiled version was a pos, might be because of the ebuild. or maybe not.
