Actually it seems most of those packages are not keyworded even for ppc: [ebuild N *] dev-ruby/ruby-gdkpixbuf2-1.1.3 USE="-test" RUBY_TARGETS="ruby18 ruby19 (-ree18)" [ebuild N *] dev-ruby/ruby-gio2-1.1.3 USE="-test" RUBY_TARGETS="ruby18 ruby19 (-ree18)" [ebuild N ~] dev-ruby/rcairo-1.10.2-r1 USE="-doc -test" RUBY_TARGETS="ruby18 ruby19 (-ree18)" [ebuild N *] dev-ruby/ruby-atk-1.1.3 USE="-test" RUBY_TARGETS="ruby18 ruby19 (-ree18)" [ebuild N *] dev-ruby/ruby-gstreamer-1.1.3 USE="-test" RUBY_TARGETS="ruby18 ruby19 (-ree18)" [ebuild N *] dev-ruby/ruby-goocanvas-1.1.3 USE="-test" RUBY_TARGETS="ruby18 ruby19 (-ree18)" [ebuild N *] dev-ruby/ruby-pango-1.1.3 USE="-test" RUBY_TARGETS="ruby18 ruby19 (-ree18)" [ebuild N *] dev-ruby/ruby-rsvg-1.1.3 USE="-cairo -test" RUBY_TARGETS="ruby18 ruby19 (-ree18)" [ebuild N *] dev-ruby/ruby-gtk2-1.1.3 USE="-test" RUBY_TARGETS="ruby18 ruby19 (-ree18)" [ebuild N *] dev-ruby/ruby-gtksourceview-1.1.3 USE="-test" RUBY_TARGETS="ruby18 ruby19 (-ree18)" [ebuild N *] dev-ruby/ruby-poppler-1.1.3 USE="-test" RUBY_TARGETS="ruby18 ruby19 (-ree18)" [ebuild N *] dev-ruby/ruby-vte-1.1.3 USE="-test" RUBY_TARGETS="ruby18 ruby19 (-ree18)" [ebuild N *] dev-ruby/ruby-gnome2-1.1.3 USE="-test" RUBY_TARGETS="ruby18 ruby19 (-ree18)" Right now I'm working on stabilizing only =dev-ruby/pkg-config-1.1.3 and =dev-ruby/ruby-glib2-1.1.3 on both ppc and ppc64. The later depends on the former.
Okay I stabilized only the following two on ppc ppc64. Please let me know if the statement in comment 2 should also apply to ppc because, as I said, most of those packages aren't even keyworded there. =dev-ruby/pkg-config-1.1.3 =dev-ruby/ruby-glib2-1.1.3 I'll remove the CCs after an ACK.
(In reply to comment #3) > Actually it seems most of those packages are not keyworded even for ppc: Those *versions* are not keyworded for ppc since you missed bug 396605. ppc now has very ancient versions stable for most of these packages...
amd64 stable
x86 stable
ppc64 doesn't have ruby-gnome2 keyworded and won't keyword it without user request -> remove ppc64 from CC list
ppc done (and pruned old copies of dev-ruby/gnome2 'meta')
