Description Benn Snyder 2012-05-21 21:51:12 UTC
The x11-apps/xinit ebuild attempts to install files outside the prefix, resulting in a QA issue.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge xinit
Actual Results:
 * QA Notice: the following files are outside of the prefix:
 * /etc
 * /etc/X11
 * /etc/X11/xinit
 * /etc/X11/xinit/launchd_startx
 * /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc
 * /Library
 * /Library/LaunchAgents
 * /Library/LaunchAgents/org.x.startx.plist
 * /Library/LaunchDaemons
 * /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.x.privileged_startx.plist
 * ERROR: x11-apps/xinit-1.3.1-r1 failed:
 * Aborting due to QA concerns: there are files installed outside the prefix

Expected Results:
Installs without issue.

patch for the xinit ebuild

This patch is against x11-apps/xinit-1.3.1-r1.ebuild, which I chose because it's keyworded amd64, but it should be applied against all x11-apps/xinit.

Oh, overlooked it! :)

@x11 team, please add prefix support, thanks.

Sorry, one more thing. Patch looks good since the ebuild is EAPI4 already. Also add ~x64-macos keyword and only apply to latest version, please.
