Description Julian Ospald 2012-05-04 21:22:58 UTC
dev-libs/tinyxml2

and

dev-libs/tinyxml

are two different projects

"TinyXML is a simple, small, efficient, C++ XML parser that can be
easily integrated into other programs."

Bernard, are you interested?
Quote from the "original" tinyxml site: "You may want to consider TinyXML-2" so it's more like a replacement.

I have send a pull request upstream to add STATIC and SHARED for the build system

see https://github.com/leethomason/tinyxml2/pull/21

I think radhermit is already working on the ebuild.

The ebuild's done (it's needed for libmediainfo) but not in the tree yet since I would like to see what upstream says about the latest patch before having to create our own custom tarball with patches on top.

Snapshot added to CVS.

Next we need to get upstream to actually tag releases. :)
