Same here. I think this is related to upgrading to firefox-4, thereby adding net-libs/xulrunner und media-libs/libpng to the accept_keywords/unmask list.

Now this combination fails to compile:
 gnome-extra/yelp-2.30.2-r5
 net-libs/xulrunner-2.0.1-r1
 media-libs/libpng-1.4.8-r1

whereas the same version of yelp compiles with:
 net-libs/xulrunner-1.9.2.17
 media-libs/libpng-1.4.8

Roland, can you post your versions of xulrunner, too?
Comment 3 Roland 2011-08-12 10:48:42 UTC
emerge -pv net-libs/xulrunner media-libs/libpng

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild R ] media-libs/libpng-1.4.8 USE="apng static-libs" 0 kB
[ebuild R ~] net-libs/xulrunner-2.0.1-r1 USE="alsa crashreporter dbus ipc libnotify startup-notification webm -custom-cflags -custom-optimization -debug -gconf -system-sqlite -wifi" 0 kB
Comment 4 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2011-08-12 12:33:01 UTC
You need yelp...-r6 for xulrunner-2

In summary: use testing yelp version for testing xulrunner and don't mix them

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 330847 ***
Comment 5 mephinet 2011-08-12 12:37:57 UTC
I'd rather say:

In summary: dependencies in yelp ebuilds require versions.

Please replace
net-libs/xulrunner:1.9
with
<net-libs/xulrunner-2.0:1.9
in yelp-2.30.2-r5.ebuild
in order to not brake gentoo installations with mixed software branches.
