I noticed that the X server process was using 60% CPU time after starting a session, going up to 100% later. I've tracked it down to vte-0.28.1-r200; downgrading to vte-0.26.2 fixed the problem. I have 22 terminals running (using x11-terms/terminal-0.4.6), 11 on each screen (:0.1 and :0.0). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open many terminal processes 2. I cannot reproduce this with gnome-terminal, maybe it's only affecting to "terminal". Could you also try on a new created user account?
