It would be nice to see new version in overlay/portage. Reproducible: Always
Is it possible to estimate when bump could be available? Is it one month or rather in longer period of time?
Created attachment 272369 [details] sogo-1.3.7a.ebuild This ebuild is a modified version of sogo-1.2.1.ebuild available in the gnustep overlay.
It would be really nice to see this ebuild updated for the latest version 1.3.12c, since this new version is the first one that works with the new 10.0ESR release of Thunderbird+Lightning, and more importantly no longer needs the 'Lightning Inverse Edition', and works with the standard Lightning for TB 10.0... Also, if someone is interested, my company may be willing to sponsor support for maintaining the ebuild, with a goal of getting it added to the official portage tree.
Sorry, guess I should have opened a new bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364377
Sorry, I pasted the wrong link... My new bug is https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=408153 Also, they now have an rc1 of the new 2.0 version, that adds full/native Outlook/MAPI support (so, no more plugin required for Outlook), and this version is just as stable as 1.3.12c, but has the new Samba4/native Outlook support.
Hi, I'm merging this bug with the newer one to keep the discussions in one place Personally, I only (barely) have time to keep the gnustep core packages updated, so I cannot give any timetable on sope/sogo updates in the overlay :/ *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 408153 ***
