Why don't you submit this for inclusion in sunrise -- until (unless) renpy is in the tree, this ebuild will not get included. Read the Sunrise guide on how to get an ebuild included.

I am not sure about that. I am a bit disappointed about how it went with katawa-shoujo, see bug 459742. It's closed source and upstream is unwilling to work on it at all, except adding translations. So it's difficult to support and you end up shipping it with those bundled, ancient renpy versions, because new ones break the game.
so yes, sunrise is probably your best bet you can join #gentoo-sunrise on freenode and ask for review of your ebuilds alternatively you can send a pull request directly https://github.com/hasufell/sunrise which will be reviewed too. However github is a bit unreliable these days.
