Maybe we should instead stabilize 2.2.2?

+ built fine with qt-4.6.3
+ solves the build issues with qt-4.7.0
~ quite possibly fixes some of those other bugs, maybe introduces some new ones

Tomka has been able to reproduce the problem from bug 343283, so please wait until that is resolved. (A few days, I'd say.)
