I read bug #319331
After that I tried to enable gpu rendering and compile chrome again. It works with my system.
I'm using the latest nvidia-drivers (256.44) and the version of chrome posted on the summary line.
So I guess the reason the disable the gpu rendering is no longer valid.

Reproducible: Always
