Description Matthias Herrmann 2010-07-05 12:03:22 UTC
The Google evolution plugin is not working anymore. The error message when trying to show the adress book is:
Fehler beim Laden eines Adressbuchs.

Dieses Adressbuch konnte nicht geöffnet werden. Dies bedeutet entweder, dass Sie eine falsche URI eingegeben haben, oder dass der Server nicht erreichbar ist.

Ausführliche Fehlernachricht: Anderer Fehler

When right-clicking on my Google calendar at evolution calendar menu (properties) and clicking "get list" the error message is:

Daten konnten nicht vom Google-Server empfangen werden.
Connection terminated unexpectedly

The evolution config is the same as in the previous evolution version. In the previous version it worked fine. I also tried deleting ~/.evolution and reconfiguring my Google connections but I get the same error. My friend also got the same error with this version. Also I got the same error on my laptop which is a x86 machine. We searched at google for this problem and found nothing. It would be very nice if you guys got some ideas to fix this.

Thanks in advance

Architecture teams have no business here.
Maybe you need net-libs/libsoup-2.28.2-r1 if you upgraded to net-libs/gnutls-2.10.0 and it broke then?

Also please post error messages in english
Comment 3 Matthias Herrmann 2010-07-05 15:12:50 UTC
Thank you very much, net-libs/libsoup-2.28.2-r1 did the job!
