Removed from rsync.de.gentoo.org till we have this fixed.

Hi,

please delete all references to this mirror. Since I left the company there was no big interest in keeping the mirror and therefore they silently removed it.

If you want you can place mirror.opteamax.de in place of that one ... but it's currentliy v6 only ... if absolutely necessary, I would add v4 too.

Jens

Thanks for the offer, can you provide the specs for the service that you have?

    * Official mirror name (preferably not your hostname, but the name of your organization)
    * Mirror type: distfiles/releases, gentoo-portage. NOTE: gentoo-portage is always rsync only. Some mirrors may have rsync for distfiles as well. Do not be confused by the difference!
    * URLs: full protocol and path for release/distfile mirrors, hostname or IP for gentoo-portage mirrors
    * Hardware specifications
    * Bandwidth specifications (transfer speed, eg 100Mbit, and any limits you may have)
    * Location
    * Intended concurrent users (for each protocol, mirror type)
    * Admin contact name and email address (This address should be registered in bugzilla so we can CC you to any bug reports)

Arun,
Our mirror testing facility will not be able to check an ipv6-only mirror, but mirrorstats can. If you do not have IPv6 available, I can check on the mirror. With that being said, we need to get together and talk about ipv6 rotations.

Hi

sure, I will ... or let's say I already have provided this info a little more than one year ago (2009-05-07):

Jens

PS: As said, if IPv4 is mandantory I will add it.

It isn't mandatory, however, some analysis of our "official" ipv6 node shows that only about 2% of its users use ipv6 ;)

Let's close this bug, call it a day for rsync4.de.

- Removed rsync4.de from ACL
- Removed rsync4.de from DNS.
- Removed rsync4.de from web listings.

Thanks for the help here.
